ABOUT ME

Michael Lawrence Broome V is the son of Michael L. Broome Sr. and Vickie Broome, and a proud member of a musical lineage deeply rooted in faith and harmony. Raised in church from a young age, Michael was immersed early on in the powerful tradition of gospel music, surrounded by a family of gifted singers who shaped his passion and vocal foundation.

A graduate of Lutheran East High School in 2019, Michael’s vocal journey took a major step forward when he began training at A Cappella camp in 2015 under the direction of the now Dr. Reginald Bowens.

Michael’s favorite genres include Gospel, R&B, and Jazz, and he draws inspiration from the soulful voices of Jonathan McReynolds, Daniel Caesar, and Lalah Hathaway.

Outside of music, Michael enjoys gaming, landscaping, and digging for new music and timeless classics—a reflection of his curiosity, creativity, and love for discovering beauty in all forms.
